If I was in charge of your list I’d put integrity, honesty, mutual respect and kindness at the top of the list. What level of education will make you most comfortable? How does he need to be in regards to his social skills? Will your mother, your friends, your dad like him? You need to feel proud of him or eventually, you'll grow to resent him. Write everything down that you think is important then pick the five to eight qualities that absolutely have to be in place when you meet him. Give that short list to your best friend and if you select a man who's missing even one of those things,  listen to her when she says you need to keep looking.
